Costa Blanca North, a luxurious corner of the Mediterranean

One of the most touristic areas of Spain is the Costa Blanca. Its bright sunshine and wonderful Mediterranean beaches invite you to have fun and relax at any time of the year. Located in the province of Alicante, the Costa Blanca extends from Denia to Pilar de la Horadada. It is the area with the highest concentration of Blue Flags in Spain, which means that on our beaches you will find unbeatable environmental conditions and top quality services. Along its 200 kilometres of varied coastline you can choose from a wide variety of fabulous beaches:

  • urban ones with soft sand and warm waters
  • wild or peaceful and quiet
  • wide and extensive or collected and shell-shaped
  • heavenly dream coves, ...
  • Moreover, the Costa Blanca will surprise you with many other possibilities of leisure and wellbeing. We invite you to discover them.

In the northern Costa Blanca you will be captivated by the beauty of its coastal villages. Traditionally dedicated to fishing and agriculture, in recent decades they have adapted to the demands of the tourism sector without losing the traditional charm of their picturesque old towns. Moraira, Altea, Calpe, Jávea, Benisa, Finestrat, ... are some of the towns where you will discover impressive natural paradises that will captivate you.

In Moraira you will find the spectacular coves of L'Andrago, Punta Estrella, La Cala, Cap Blanc, ... ideal for diving or water sports. In its peaceful and sunny surroundings, you will find luxury housing developments where you can live comfortably surrounded by mountains full of leafy Mediterranean pine forests.

The blue dome of Altea's church, perhaps the most photographed on the Mediterranean coast, contrasts with the white houses in its narrow, cobbled streets where you will find craft shops, souvenirs, cafes, ... It is considered one of the most beautiful towns on the Costa Blanca. The Natural Park of Peñón de Ifach, located in Calpe, is one of the icons of the northern Costa Blanca. Its sunny and mild winters are magnificent for hiking or walking along its long, urban beaches of golden sand.

More than half of Jávea's inhabitants are from other European countries. Its soft-sand beaches are considered the best in Spain. Its Paseo Marítimo, full of sunny terraces of bars and cafes, is the best place to have fun with your friends on holiday. Benisa offers us a coast full of steep and cliffs with beautiful coves invaded by pine trees. If you are fond of scuba diving or snorkelling, in its crystalline and shallow waters you will discover beautiful posidonia prairies. Its historical centre is made up of typical medieval streets with stately homes and buildings of great architectural value. Finestrat is a quiet mountain village with the charm of its narrow streets and whitewashed facades, typical of traditional Mediterranean villages. It has a beautiful cove with soft sands and warm waters very popular with international holidaymakers.

You will also be seduced by the busiest and most touristy towns such as Benidorm, Alicante, Denia, ... where you will enjoy the advantages of the large urban centres without having to give up spectacular beaches of excellent quality. Benidorm is a world reference for tourism. In addition to its two famous beaches of Levante and Poniente, among its main attractions are

  • the nightlife venues with live music or disco until dawn
  • the amusement parks: Terra Mitica is the largest theme park
  • golf links
  • great commercial, hotel and restaurant offer

Behind Denia is the Macizo del Montgó Natural Park. This modern and cosmopolitan city offers you an important infrastructure of services that allow you to live comfortably. Moreover, its 20 kilometres of coastline offer you a variety of rock and sand beaches.

Alicante is the capital of the province. Its popular Playa del Postiguet is located in the city centre. It has an extensive network of transport facilities: airport, commercial port, marina, railway station, high-speed train, bus station, ... Its beautiful old town is located on the slopes of Mount Benacantil, where the Castle of Santa Bárbara is located.
